OCONOMOWOC, Wis. — February 18, 2025 — ORBIS® Corporation, a global leader in reusable packaging solutions, will be showcasing their expertise in designing totes and pallets for use in automation and the ability to customize totes for automated systems at ProMat 2025, held March 17-20 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. ORBIS, exhibiting at booth #S4104, will be highlighting the benefits of reusable packaging through product demonstrations, presentations, and a strong on-site presence.

“At ORBIS we’ve seen how automation can solve some of the biggest supply chain challenges, whether it’s through robotics, the rapid growth of automated vehicles, combating inventory shrinkage with tracking, and more,” said Lynn Hediger, vice-president of product management. “We have a great story to tell about our ability to collaborate with automated system providers and end users to create reusable solutions that lead to measurable results. And ProMat is an ideal format to tell it.”

ORBIS offers both best-in-class standard and custom products like the AROS® tote family and 40×48 Odyssey® 3-Runner Pallet, as examples, for use with automated systems. ORBIS will have two in-booth demos:

ORBIS will feature the AGILOX OCF in its booth, which will be handling four different ORBIS pallet loads, showcasing reusable pallets interfacing with today’s AGVs. The AGILOX OCF is an omnidirectional AMR with counterweight from floor to station that lifts and transports heavy loads in open or closed pallets through narrow aisles. It is available in different configurations (lifting capacity, fork length, lifting height) and can perform logistics tasks ranging from the simple to complex. The AGILOX OCF will be interacting with the Odyssey 3-Runner Pallet, Odyssey SD Pallet, Odyssey Low-Profile, and the P3 Pallet. AGILOX is exhibiting in Booth #N7553.

ORBIS will also be highlighting tote picking applications with the Lumabot® autonomous mobile robot, courtesy of Onward Robotics. Featuring intuitive put-to-light technology, the static Lumabot will be paired with ORBIS Collapsible Mini-Load Totes, stack and nest totes, and Part Bins. Lumabot is an interactive and powerful person-to-goods autonomous mobile robot designed for accurate and efficient order fulfillment in warehousing, distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment. Directed by Onward’s proprietary Pyxis technology, Lumabot AMRs boost picking productivity and that of their human counterparts, intelligently meeting the right person at the right time. Onward Robotics is exhibiting in booth #N8132.
